One of the goals of archaeology is to identify the missing names place. Archaeologists are always trying to find the place of missing name through various sources in history. One of these very important names place is "land of Arata". In the clay tablet found from Ur of the Mesopotamia (Iraq) It has been mentioned from several locations that related to the third century BC, some of which have been located in Iran. The name "Aratta" is one of these places that a lot of views has been raised over its present-day location. Today, most researchers believe that the Aratta Name Place was located in the domain of Jiroft civilization. According to Sumerian sources, there was a close relationship between this region and Mesopotamia during the reign of Enmercar of the king of the first dynasty of Uruk. The aim of this study was to identify the geographical location of Aratta name place and adapt it to the Jiroft civilization based on library resources and to investigate new archaeological researches in Jiroft plain. This article, by studying historical sources and surveying archaeological findings, especially the study of motifs of chlorite stone containers, has concluded that Aratta is most likely located in Jiroft region of Kerman province.
